The Technology Working Group is chaired by Enrique Garcia, CTO at the NCC. The TWG works across the Sector Groups and seeks to fill technology gaps in the Sector Roadmaps.

Aim:To provide knowhow and develop technology to solve issues and enable new and refined materials, processes and tools to ensure the future composites pipeline continues to flow”.

Recent and Ongoing Activity

The TWG has recently been working on realigning focus on materials development to meet industry requirements as well as achieving funding for increased facilities across academic research centres and at NCC, AMRC and CPI, which should ultimately attract more inward investment.

Future scope is currently looking to support Digital for Composites as well as progressing the National Composites Materials Centre proposal as part of the Composites Sector Deal.
